2-3 Year Olds - Raindrop

"Sunshine Day Nursery - Setting the Standards"
2-3 Year Old Room - Raindrop

Our raindrop room can hold up to 8, 2-3 year olds and the ratio is 1 adult to 4 children.

The Raindrop room has a role play area and home corner, a quiet area with story books, a creative table and sand/water tray and tables set up with activities where they can learn and explore. They have a water jug and cups, where they can access fresh drinking water throughout the day.

The children in the 2-3 year room have their naps in our upstairs room, where we create a calm and peaceful area. Each child has their own sheet and blanket with their name tag. These are all washed at the end of their attendance for the week.

We set planned activities for the children and follow the early year’s foundation stage. All activities we do with the children are through play to help them learn and develop.

We offer settle in sessions before your child starts, this gives you time to talk about your child’s needs and routine with your child’s key worker and the other staff in the room.
